Last Minute Market by artists group

YOUNGSTOWN

Artists of the Rust Belt’s Last Minute Market will take place Saturday and Sunday at B&O Station, 530 Mahoning Ave. Hours are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days. Admission is $1.

This annual sale, now in its 10th year, features unique and original works by local artists. It will include a cash bar and food by the B&O’S new kitchen, along with rum cakes by Mary Ann’s Fine Foods and other treats from vendors. Items that will be for sale include photographs, jewelry, furniture, crochet work, paintings, pottery and more.

MetroParks seeks photo for exhibit

YOUNGSTOWN

Mill Creek MetroParks is seeking original photos from local amateur photographers for its Nature Photography Exhibit.

Entries will be accepted from Tuesday to Jan. 6 at Ford Nature Center, 840 Old Furnace Road, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday, and noon to 5 p.m. Sundays. The entry fee and application must also be submitted during this period. Details and the application can be found at millcreekmetroparks.org.

Categories include: Wild Animals, Plants – Wild or Not, Wild Scenes, Mill Creek MetroParks Scenes, Nature with a Human Touch, Monochrome, and Young Photographers.
