Citation: After responding to an accident in which a semi-truck and trailer struck a pole near South Broad and East Main streets, officers cited Justin Cox, 24, of Newcomerstown, Ohio, on a charge of failure to control the vehicle.

Summons: Police on Herbert Road issued a summons charging Virgie M. Fisher, 27, of South Main Street, Austintown, with driving under a license-forfeiture suspension.

Summons: A traffic stop on North Broad Street resulted in a summons charging Timothy A. Foster, 30, of Ann Avenue, Niles, with driving under suspension.

Dec. 6

Arrest: After answering a call about a student who reportedly ran away from Canfield High School on Cardinal Drive, police arrested the 17-year-old Youngstown student via a referral from the Martin P. Joyce Juvenile Justice Center in the city.

Dec. 7

Drug paraphernalia: Officers charged a 17-year-old student at the Mahoning County Career and Technical Center, 7300 N. Palmyra Road, with possessing drug paraphernalia.

Dec. 9

Summons: Brianna Triplett, 27, of Glenwood Avenue, Boardman, received a citation charging her with traveling 60 mph on a portion of East Main Street with a 35-mph speed limit.
