Mahoning Valley Amateur Radio Association will celebrate 100 years of Amateur Radio during 2019. The club is asking any former members or anyone with information about former members to reply. Alzheimer Network Family Support Groups will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Girard Free Library, 105 E. NAMI Mahoning Valley offers Connections support groups for adults living with mental illness, in a discussion format, to promote self-disclosure in a safe, relaxed, supportive and confidential environment. Connections meets the second and fourth Thursdays of each month at 6 p.m. at Alta Care, 142 Javit Court, Austintown. NAMI Mahoning Valley also offers Family Support Groups that provide information and support for family members and friends of individuals with mental illness. Family groups meet the first Thursday of each month at 11 a.m. at Girard Library, 105 E. Prospect St.; and the second Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. at Alta Care.
