Donatellis mark 70th anniversary at family party

Alfred and Donna Donatelli were honored recently on the occasion of their 70th wedding anniversary at a family party at the Elk’s Lodge in Fort Myers, Fla.

Hosts for the event were the couple’s sons and daughters-in-law, Anthony and Becky Donatelli and David and Joyce Donatelli.

Seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild complete their family.

The former Donna Reid and Mr. Donatelli were married Oct. 2, 1948, at St. Mary Church in New Castle, Pa. She was a homemaker and was active at Holy Rosary Church in Lowellville and various women’s clubs.

Her husband was a news director for WKBN TV for 40 years. He also worked as a painter. He served as a sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1943-46.
