Donations needed for workshop

YOUNGSTOWN

Every year, the children in programs at Beatitude House have an opportunity to pick out gifts for their moms, wrap them and put them under the Christmas tree. Santa’s Workshop is possible because of donations from the community. This annual event is quickly approaching, and Beatitude House is requesting gift donations. Items can be something practical such as gloves, scarves, socks, slippers and dish towels. The moms also love items for pampering, such as bath sets, jewelry, frames, books or perfume. Note: Beatitude House is not able to accept open-flame candles. Anyone interested in donating to the workshop is asked to take unwrapped gifts to Beatitude House’s administrative offices on the campus of St. Edward Parish, 238 Tod Lane. Donations are accepted from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. All gifts must be received by Dec. 17. Call 330-744-3147 with questions.
