Hamrocks’ 50th observed during trip to Texas

CANFIELD

The 50th wedding anniversary of Jerry and Bernadette Hamrock of Canfield was celebrated recently during a family trip to the couple’s daughter’s home in Austin, Texas, where they also were joined by their son and his family.

A family dinner was hosted by their children at Italics Restaurant in Austin, culminating the trip.

Mr. Hamrock and the former Bernadette Hayek were married Oct. 30, 1968, at Our Lady of Lebanon Shrine in North Jackson. The couple are members of St. Maron Church.

They are the parents of Jerry (Barb) Hamrock of San Jose, Calif.; and Lori Lesko of Austin. Five grandchildren, Kayla, Alexander and Ryan Hamrock and Tyler and Ava Lesko, complete their family.

Mrs. Hamrock retired in 2015 after working more than 40 years in the accounting field, first for K. Anthony Hayek Associates and later as the accounting manager for MS Consultants Inc.

Mr. Hamrock served in the National Guard and worked for 35 years at General Motors Inc. in Lordstown. He retired in 2007.
