Point Five Band in Christmas concert

Howard Howell and the Point Five Band will perform the Joy of Christmas concert at 7 p.m. Friday at Ford Family Recital Hall, 260 W. Federal St. Tickets are available by calling the DeYor Performing Arts Center box office at 330-744-0264 or online at www.youngstownsymphony.com.
Joining Howell will be jazz artists Sean Jones, Billy Beck, Rick Ward, Herb Wilborn Jr., Clarence Ross and Arielle Green.
Concert of Giving
YOUNGSTOWN
The Youngstown Area Community Concert Band and the Stambaugh Chorus will present their 8th annual Holiday Concert Of Giving at 4 p.m. Dec. 16 at Stambaugh Auditorium. Cash and check donations of any amount will be collected at the door and all proceeds will benefit the Second Harvest Food Bank. Doors will open at 3:30 for the 90-minute concert. No food items will be collected at this event.
