BASKETBALL

George Jones Youth Basketball League — is gearing up for the start of the season and are looking for teams. Player ages are 5 -12. For more information, call Steve at 330-383-3259. Games are played at Old Chester Elementary School in Chester, W.Va.

South Range — will sponsor a basketball tournament for players if grades four through six on Jan. 5-6 and Jan. 12-13. Four games are guaranteed for each team. Cost is $125 per team. To sign up, contact T.J. Irons at 330-518-5062 or tirons@southrange.org for information. Tourney is limited to first 12 teams in each age bracket to register.

COACHING

Sebring McKinley — is taking applications for a head football coach. Sebring competes in the Mahoning Valley Athletic Conference. Varsity head coach experience is preferred but not required. There are no teaching positions available at this time. Interested and qualified candidates should send a cover letter, resume, three professional references and their coaching philosophy to Brian Clark, Athletic Director, Sebring Local Schools, via email to bclark@sebring.k12.oh.us.

Golf

Nine-hole Mill Creek Golf Course — Ladies Tuesday Morning Golf League is looking for new members. Play begins May 7 at 8:30 a.m. Further information can be obtained by calling 330-758-0798.

Yankettes Golf League — is looking for new members for its Wednesday night outings. Outings begin on May 1 at 5 p.m. at Yankee Run Golf Course. Those interested can email mbh0051@aol.com for more information.
