BEAVER TOWNSHIP

Canaan Johnson scored three goals as the Raiders (2-0) handed the Indians (3-1) their first loss. Logan Baer, Zack Schick, Camden Thomas and Quinn Pierson all scored for South Range. Logan Weaver had three assists, Luke McConnell had two and Johnson had one. Matt Lucas had four saves for the Raiders and Bailey McDermott had five for the Indians.

Lakeview 9, Jefferson 0

CORTLAND

Vinnie Rienzi scored four goals and Jeff Remmick and Blake Stockon each had twos. Devonte Parker also scored for Lakeview. Remmick had three assists, while Rienzi, Parker, Joe Gomez, Nathan Barber and Christian Miller each had one. Jefferson managed only one shot on goal. The Falcons’ Aidan Orzekowski had eight saves.

LEAVITTSBURG

Golden Flashes goalie Andrew Russell made 10 saves and Vikings goalie Logan DeArmitt had six as the teams played to a scoreless draw. Champion is 1-2-2 and LaBrae is 0-1-1.

BELOIT

Ian Yarwood scored both goals for the Warriots (3-1-0). Stevie Stenson and Griff Lough had an assist. Goalkeeper Jared Butler made five saves. For the Aviators, Nick Deack scored and Trevor Strata made six saves.

Lordstown 4, Mathews 2

LORDSTOWN

Marcos Lopez scored twice and Jay Frank and Matt Eakins also had goals in the Red Devils’ victory. Eakins, Sam Evans and Mason Austin had assists. Goalkeeper Joey Caruso had four saves. Rhea Demetrius and Dominic Greenwood had goals for the Mustangs. Greenwood added an assist. Ryan Gates recorded had nine saves.

ASHTABULA TOWNSHIP

Colt Crane and Jacob Wickline scored goals for the Rebels (3-1) in a road win. Wickline also had an assist. Carter Blakeman made five saves. Ben Welty scored for the Warriors. Edgewood goalkeeper Dalton Hanna made 15 saves. JV: Crestview, 3-0.

Kaylin Burkey made 14 kills and eight digs while Raegan Burkey had 20 assists for the Spartans (5-0). Maria Torres scored nine points and made 11 digs and six kills while Madison Riccuiti scored nine points. For the Tigers (2-2, 0-1 All-American Conference Red), Chloe Schultz made eight kills and Haley Vandergrift made 15 digs.

The Panthers spotted the Eagles the first set, then stormed back to take the next three and the match. Mantazia Tolbert and Jasmine Davis each had 13 points for East. Davis had six aces. JV: East. 25-12, 25-10.

Julia Bonneau had 16 points and 21 digs to lead the Red Dragons, who won three straight after spotting the Bulldogs the opening game. Keara Taylor Hall had 16 assists, 12 points, six kills and three aces. Jane Parry had 19 assists and five aces. JV: Niles, 25-19, 25-23.

Hayley Lytle had 17 kills and Casey Sanford scored 11 points to lead the Bulldogs over the Raiders. Lexi Inman had 27 assists and three aces and Casey Inman had 27 digs for Lakeview (2-1, 1-0, Northeast 8). Bianca Naples had three blocks. Drew Feren led South Range (4-2, 0-1) with 21 digs, Anna Primavera had 13 kills and 11 digs and Emily Irons had 13 assists, eight digs and three kills.

The Rams lost in five games, but Madison Carl had 59 digs and Daniell Aulet had 39 assists, 11 digs, four aces and four blocks and Pryce Allen had 30 digs, six kills and four blocks. Waterloo stats were nor reported. JV: Mineral Ridge, 25-18, 19-25, 25-18.

Chasie Vogt had three goals and an assist, Sadie Vogt added a goal and an assist and Sophia Lallo scored her first high school goal in the Eagles’ victory over the Rovers. Natalie Rodgers made nine saves for Valley Christian. Lauren Housley scored both Rootstown goals.
