v Brier Hill Italian Festival, noon to 11 p.m.: The final day of this festival (free admission) will begin with a morning Mass at 10:30 a.m. at St. Anthony’s and close with a performance by Dom Tocco and the Brotherhood. It’s centered on the intersection of Calvin and Victoria streets on the North Side.

v Latino Heritage Festival, noon to 9 p.m.: Highlighting the entertainment schedule will be comedian-magician Eric Thompson and the Mambo Caliente Band at 6 p.m. It’s at Roosevelt Park in Campbell.

v Funky Fly Project, 3 p.m.: The free Sunday Jazz in the Park series continues at B&O Station, 530 Mahoning Ave., Youngstown.

Paladin Brewing marks anniversary

AUSTINTOWN

Paladin Brewing, 6520 Mahoning Ave., will celebrate its third anniversary Saturday from 2 to 10 p.m.

There will be a bounce house for children under 12 starting at 2 p.m. until at least 7 p.m., and everyone in attendance (over 21) will be entered to win door prizes every half hour.

Paladin Brewing is now also doing business as Youngstown Brewing and has teamed up with Penguin City Brewing Company to produce Penguin City Beer, which will be released on draft at Saturday’s celebration.

Representatives from Penguin City Beer will be on hand to talk about it and give away merchandise.

‘Don Reed Story’ screening at theater

HERMITAGE, PA.

“The Don Reed Story, A Life on the Edge of Eternity” will be screened at Cinema 8 Theater, behind the Hermitage Giant Eagle on East State Street, at 7 p.m. Friday.

This is a one-time showing. Tickets may be purchased in advance at the theater between 8 a.m. and noon. Group tickets can be purchased by calling 724-981-2610.

The movie/documentary involves the addictions that people face. More than 20 local people were involved in it.
