Miss Martinelli, Mr. Ragan will marry Sept. 1

Cheryl and John Martinelli and Sharon Ragan and Robert Ragan, all of Struthers, are announcing the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their children Samantha Martinelli and R.J. Ragan, both of Struthers.

The open wedding will take place at 1:30 p.m. Sept. 1 at St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Struthers. A reception by invitation will follow that evening at The Embassy.

The bride-elect graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and is a mortgage-loan closer for Home Savings Bank in Youngstown.

The prospective groom graduated from YSU with a master’s degree in business administration and bachelor’s degrees in electrical and computer engineering. He also earned a master’s degree in engineering management from Case Western Reserve University. He is an automation engineer manager for HWI in Pittsburgh.
