Trailer for local film to be unveiled

The trailer for “Worst. Christmas. Ever.,” the upcoming dark comedy by Valley filmmaker Johnny Chechitelli, will be revealed at a special event at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Whistle & Keg, corner of West Federal and Phelps streets, downtown.
The event will also include a screening of Chechitelli’s 2010 feature documentary “Youngstown: Still Standing.” The 89-minute film includes interviews with prominent Youngstown natives, including actor Ed O’Neill, boxing champion Ray “Boom Boom” Mancini and Hollywood voice actor Jim Cummings.
Admission is $5, which includes discounted drinks and free popcorn.
There will also be a silent auction and raffles for T-shirts, DVDs, movie props and a chance to appear in “Worst. Christmas. Ever.”
