Christine Simko, Eric Pelosi to exchange vows

Tom and Mary Simko of Canfield are announcing the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Christine Simko of New York, N.Y., to Eric Pelosi of Tacoma, Wash. The prospective groom is a son of Suzanne Pelosi of Paramus, N.J., and Louis Pelosi of Westchester, N.Y.

The exchanging of vows will take place Saturday at St. Charles Borromeo Church in Boardman. A reception that evening will take place at The Lake Club in Poland. Invitations have been extended for both events.

The bride-elect graduated from Mercyhurst University with a bachelor’s degree in fashion merchandising and from the Fashion Institute of Technology with an associate degree in fashion business management. She is a made-to-measure administrator for Ermenegildo Zegna in New York City.

Mr. Pelosi is also a graduate of Mercyhurst University with a bachelor’s degree in intelligence studies. He is an officer for the U.S. Army in Tacoma.
