Gates will open at 5 p.m. for Monday’s free concert by renowned cellist Yo-Yo Ma, with members of the Warren Philharmonic Orchestra and the Youngstown Symphony Orchestra, at Warren Community Amphitheatre.
Local performers will begin at 5:30 p.m., with the concert at 6 p.m. It will be followed by a panel discussion, “How Can the Arts – and All of Culture – Serve Our Community?” moderated by Deborah F. Rutter of the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, with local educator William Mullane, the Rev. Lewis Macklin II, and Barb Ewing of the Youngstown Business Incubator. All seating is general admission. The concert will be casual with food trucks and beer sales. In case of rain, it will be moved to Packard Music Hall.
