Derby Day benefit planned

The nonprofit organization, Buckeye Horse Park, will host the third annual Derby Day at 4:30 p.m. Saturday at The Links at Firestone Farms, 105 St. Andrews Drive, Columbiana. The event will feature the Kentucky Derby on a big screen television as well as mint juleps, dinner, silent and basket auctions and a Derby Day game hosted by Greenwood Chevrolet. Cost is $60 and proceeds will benefit Buckeye Horse Park. The park’s mission is to enhance the experiences of equine enthusiasts through educational programs, competitive events and outreach activities. Call Sally Kish at 330-549-2897 to make reservations.
