Jennifer Rogers, Christoph Martin set June date

Dr. Ronald and Joyce Rogers of Petersburg are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Jennifer Rogers, to Christoph Martin, both of Columbiana.

The Rev. William and Carole Martin of Pryor, Okla., are the parents of the prospective groom.

St. James Meeting House in Boardman Park will be the setting for the couple’s wedding to take place at 4:45 p.m. June 16. A reception will follow at the Holiday Inn in Boardman. Invitations will be extended for both events.

The bride-elect graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor’s degree in education and from Lesley University with a master’s degree in education. She teaches sixth-grade English Language Arts for Columbiana Exempted Village Schools district.

Mr. Martin retired in 2012 as a corporal from the U.S. Marine Corps, where he worked as a motor transportation operator.
