Austintown Fitch 8, Canfield 1
CANFIELD
Kenny Misik threw a three-hitter and struck out five in the Falcons’ victory. Kole Klasic had two hits, two RBIs and scored two runs for Fitch (15-5). Cam Burton also had two hits, including a double, for Fitch. The Falcons broke open a scoreless with five runs on three hits and four Canfield errors in the top of the fifth inning. Ricky Havrilla had a double for the Cardinals.
Boardman 7, Lowellville 1
STRUTHERS
Luke Cardillo, Dom Stilliana, Travis Harvey and Evan Knaus each racked up multiple hits for the Spartans. Mike Fetsko led Boardman with two stolen bases and Boardman finished with six steals. The Spartans played errorless defense and Knaus handled all six of his chances. Vinnie Kacir and Matt Hvisdak each had a hit for the Rockets.
Canton GlenOak 13, Ursuline 6
CANTON
Ryan Bergert had three hits, scored three runs and drove in two more as the Golden Eagles (7-7) beat the Irish (6-12). Kyle Boron singled, doubled and scored twice for GlenOak. Vince Armeni singled, doubled and drove in a run for Ursuline. Colin Balas had two RBIs for the Irish.
Cardinal Mooney 3, Howland 1
HOWLAND
Johnnie Mikos went 3 for 3 with an RBI for the Cardinals. JT Ogden and Brandon Mikos also drove one run each for Mooney. Ogden allowed two runs, one earned, on two hits and a pair of walks. Dylan Keller allowed three runs on nine hits and a walk in six innings. Keller struck out seven. Howland’s Frankie Manios had an RBI.
Hubbard 5, Edgewood 1
HUBBARD
Ryan Halavick pitched a three-hitter for the Eagles (11-9, 5-3 AAC White Tier). He struck out six and walked three. Edgewood’s Frank Sloan was the losing pitcher. Hubbard’s Jamie Thomson had an RBI single and stole home in the second inning. Dom Hoper had an RBI single in the first inning. Anthony Corrin also had an RBI single. Sloan had a hit for Edgewood (3-8, 1-8 AAC White Tier).
South Range 4, Niles 3
NILES
Nick Habeth allowed three runs on six hits and three walks for the Raiders in 6 2/3 innings. Niles’ Zach Leonard pitched a complete game. Leonard allowed four runs, two earned, on four hits and seven walks. South Range’s Jake Gehring and Brandon Youngs each drove in a run. Nick Guarnieri went 1 for 4 with an RBI for the Red Dragons.
Beaver Local 9, Lisbon 4
LISBON
Trey Pancake struck out eight in four scoreless innings for Beaver Local. Ryan Zywiec allowed three runs in three innings of relief for Beaver. Cam Summers got the loss for the Blue Devils. He allowed six runs on three hits and struck out one in 1 1/3 innings. Seth Donaldson went 3 for 4 to lead Lisbon.
Heartland Christian 5, Wellsville 4
EAST PALESTINE
Heartland Christian’s Caleb Graft pitched six innings, walking five and striking out five. Tom Kling pitched the seventh and struck out one in the save. Wellsville’s Justin Thirtyacre pitched a complete game. He struck out eight and walked one. Aaron Gault and Kling each had a single, a double and an RBI for Heartland Christian (3-7). Wellsville’s Cole Corbin, C.J. Heffner and Jeremy Barton each had a hit for the Tigers (3-7).
West Branch 3, Canton South 0
BELOIT
TJ DeShields had two hits and scored two runs to lead West Branch (14-2). Gino Sabatine pitched a complete game for the Warriors, allowing just two hits and striking out six.
Western Reserve 7, McDonald 0
BERLIN CENTER
Dom Velasquez had four hits and three RBIs to lead Western Reserve (8-5). Ryan Demsky added three hits and an RBI, along with three runs scored and two steals. Nate Ifft had two hits for McDonald (4-6).

Chris Thompson had four hits and drove in three runs for Springfield (11-2). Shane Eynon added three hits for the Tigers and Brannon Brungard had two hits.

South Range 7, Girard 6 9 Innings
BEAVER TOWNSHIP
Freshman Jillian Strecansky delivered a walk-off, two-run double as the Raiders rallied to beat the Indians in nine innings. Bree Kohler singled, homered and drove in three runs for South Range. The Raiders (13-5) also got two hits each from Madison Weaver, Hope Thomas and Maddy Helon. Weaver and Thomas each had a double. Kohler struck out 15 and walked one in a complete-game win. Samantha Dohy had three hits and struck out six for Girard.
Ursuline 5, Richmond Edison 4
RICHMOND
Gia Caldrone doubled home Destiny Goodnight with the go-ahead run in the top of the seventh inning for the Irish (15-3). Goodnight, Caldrone and Jenny O’Hara each had two hits for Ursuline. O’Hara’s RBI single in the sixth tied the game at 4. She finished with two RBIs. Maris Barbato and Julia Nutter each doubled for Ursuline. Hannah Christoff homered for the Wildcats (13-5). Jordyn Kenneally (8-3) scattered six hits and struck out five for the win.
McDonald 10, Western Reserve 4
BERLIN CENTER
Rachel Ward, Megan Ward, Sarah Lorello and Cailey Titus each had two hits and Rachel Ward struck out nine for McDonald (7-3, 7-1 Mahoning Valley Athletic Conference). Bri Callow drove in two runs and Rachel Ward added a double. Abby Sudano singled, doubled and drove in two runs and Madi Crock singled twice for Western Reserve.

Champion’s Allison Smith struck out seven in a one-hitter. Emma Gumont led Champion (13-0, 8-0 AAC Blue Tier) with three hits. Smith, Abbi Grace, Abby White, Cassidy Shaffer and Sophie Howell each had two hits. Smith, Megan Turner and Shaffer each hit a home run. Smith led Champion with five RBIs and Turner had three. White, Shaffer, Carli Swipas and Howell each had two RBIs. Alex Staton struck out three and walked six for Newton Falls (9-4, 7-1 AAC Blue Tier).

SALEM
Elly Exline went 3 for 3, stole four bases and scored twice for the Quakers. Meg Rossero also went 3 for 3 and Brooke Veglia had two RBIs for Salem. Taylor Thorpe went the distance and struck out 10 for the win. Annie Paterson tripled and reached base three times for the Golden Eagles.

Tehya Reid had three hits ans two RBI to lead Newbury. Haley Hamilton tripled and drove in two runs, and Emma Boch had two RBI.

Lydia Spalding struck out 12 and allowed no hits for Fitch (6-5). Spalding had a triple, a single, and two RBIs. Ashley Mickey added two RBIs for the Falcons. Payton Schuller and Karlie Heilman both singled for Harding (2-11).
Hubbard 8, Edgewood 6
HUBBARD
Hannah Kist had five RBIs and four hits to lead the Hubbard offense. Emma Wukelich added three more hits and an RBI. Lucia Mozzocco had three hits and an RBI for Edgewood.

Camryn Zec pitched a complete game for Badger, striking out 12. Ashlee Lennox led the Braves with two hits and two RBIs. Isabelle Emery and Tori Hughes also drove in a run each. Mackeznie Spelich had two hits and an RBI for Maplewood.

Kamryn Buckley had two hits and four RBI to lead the Tigers. Emily Darlington added three hits and drove in three runs, while Emily O’Connell and Lindsey Shrodek drove in two runs each.

Marisa Ricciardi and Sydney Phillips each scored two goals and Galena Lopuchovsky had a goal and an assist in the Bulldogs’ loss. Emillie Franco had four ground balls, Allyson Andrews, Sarah Leach and Olivia Barrett each had three and Catherine Sicafuse had two. Theresa Detoro had an interception. Poland goalie Carly Boccia had 18 saves.
