Woman tells police she was attacked in Metropark
YOUNGSTOWN
Mill Creek MetroParks police are increasing their presence in the park after a woman reported being attacked at about 8 p.m. Thursday.
A woman in her early 50s told police she was attacked and dragged into the woods on West Newport Drive, according to 21-WFMJ TV, The Vindicator’s broadcast partner. The woman’s head and wrist were injured and some of her teeth knocked out in the attack, a police report said.
The MetroParks asks anyone who seems something suspicious to contact police at 330-744-3848.
