Youngstown cops arrest 2 men on domestic-violence charges

YOUNGSTOWN — Police made two arrests Tuesday for domestic violence.

Police arrested James M. Riley Jr., 68, of Stewart Avenue, about 3:30 p.m. at his East Side home after reports said his girlfriend told police he punched and shoved her to the ground because she refused to pay the reinstatement fees for his driver's license.

Police arrested David Dobrish, 42, of South Wendover Circle, about 7:15 a.m. at his West Side home after his girlfriend claimed he dragged her out of her car after she returned home from a night out that began at 1:30 a.m.

Reports said the woman told police it took her so long to get home because she was having car trouble.
