High court rules fracking ban proposal must be on primary ballot

COLUMBUS

The Ohio Supreme Court ruled today in a 5-2 decision that the Mahoning County Board of Elections overstepped its authority by rejecting an initiative to ban fracking in Youngstown.

The court ruled that the board must place the proposal back on the primary election ballot.
