Warren Junior Women’s League honor teen volunteers

The GFWC Ohio Warren Junior Women’s League recently recognized 10 Trumbull County teenagers for their time, service and dedication to volunteer work during the league’s 48th annual WJWL Teen Volunteer Awards Banquet. More than 30 submissions were received from area students and judged by Esther Gartland, Ginny Pasha and Diane Szuch. The top 10 each received a $25 check and gift bag from Eastwood Mall. The top teen volunteer award and a $500 prize went to Amanda Grexa of Badger High School, and $300 and second-place winner was Gianna Jones of Warren G. Harding High School. Third-place and a $200 award was won by Celested Harris of Harding.
