11 — Ned Mervos Golf Outing, sponsored by the Youngstown State Football Alumni Club and MS Consultants, Inc., at the Youngstown Country Club. The fee for members is $125 per golfer while non-members are $150. Tee/green sign sponsorships are available for $75. The deadline for registration is April 27. Registration begins at 9:30 a.m. with lunch being at 11 a.m. Golf starts at noon and dinner will be served at 6 p.m. Membership in the organization is $75. 16 — Women’s Instructional Golf League at Tamer Win Golf & Country Club. Each Wednesday through June 20. Pre-paid cost is $200 and includes instructional clinic, greens fees and cart. Each session begins with a 30-minute clinic, followed by on-course instruction and play. Instruction provided by Tamer Win PGA pro Matt Rura. Open to women of high school age and up. 26 — Bub Heldman Memorial Golf Outing at Bedford Trails. Check-in starts at 7:15 a.m. with an 8 a.m. shotgun start. The cost is $75 per person or $300 per foursome and includes 18 holes and golf cart, beverages, lunch and dinner. Gold, silver and bronze sponsorships are available. Individuals may purchase an “In Memory of” tribute hole sign for $50. All proceeds benefit the annual Heldman Scholar-Athlete Award and $8,000 Scholarship at Struthers High School.
