Vacant South Forest Avenue house destroyed by fire

YOUNGSTOWN — A vacant South Forest Avenue has been destroyed by fire.

Crews were called to the home about 3:45 p.m., and were forced to water nearby homes and lots to keep the flames from spreading.

There are no injuries.

The smoke could be seen from downtown.
