Cardinal Camp takes place June 20-22

The Canfield boys’ basketball coaching staff is ready to host the annual youth basketball camp, which will take place June 20-22. Instructing the fundamentals is the primary objective of the camp, as CHS players and coaching staff will blend competitive events and games to exhibit growth in basketball skills. Cost of the camp is $45 per participant. All registrations received after June 1 and/or walk-ins once the camp begins will be charged and additional $5. To check for times and find out whether your son is an eligible camper, registration forms can be found at the main offices of all Canfield Local Schools and in the athletic office at Canfield High School or you may get a copy online at www.mmuck7.weebly.com.

Neighbors wants spring sports news

Rain, sun and warmer days are on the way. Spring athletics have arrived and Neighbors wants to be there every step of the way. If you’re a sports coach or the parent of an athlete, we need your help. In order to get teams and players the recognition they deserve, we want to showcase them in our pages.

We can only do that if you commit to sending us game reports and photos each week. If you send it, it will get in.

You can email us at neighbors@vindy.com. You don’t have to be a writer — just send us the information and we’ll put it all together. When emailing pictures, send them as JPEG files and as large as possible.

Provide caption information and where people are located from left to right, front row to back. The sports news we’re looking for ranges from varsity high school teams down to middle school and even elementary and recreational leagues. We look forward to hearing about your teams successes.
