Austintown cops arrest woman on prostitution charge

AUSTINTOWN — Township police made a prostitution-related arrest Wednesday.

According to a police report, officers assigned “to combat certain criminal activities including prostitution associated with human trafficking” responded to an ad on a website used for escort services. They arranged a meeting Wednesday night and agreed to a price of $150 for an hour, according to the report.

At a location in the 500 block of South Raccoon Road, police arrested Audreyona Ward on charges of soliciting and possessing criminal tools.
