Boardman woman arrested with loaded gun after South Side fight


YOUNGSTOWN — Reports said police found a gun on a Boardman woman Monday following a large fight on the South Side.

Breyonna Moore, 25, is in the Mahoning County jail on charges of carrying a concealed weapon and inducing panic.

She is expected to be arraigned Wednesday in municipal court.

Officers were called at about 3:15 p.m. to West Hylda and West Hudson avenues for a report of a large group of women fighting in the street and were told that a woman later determined to be Moore had a gun.

Moore was ordered to the ground at gunpoint after she placed a Glock 19 9mm handgun on the ground.

The gun was found to have 15 rounds in the magazine, reports said.

Reports said witnesses told police a man gave Moore the gun and tried to take it back but could not before police arrived, reports said.
