Warren woman faces child-endangerment charge

WARREN — Police investigated child-related complaints Friday and Saturday, charging Raionna S. Cofield, 23, of Peace Avenue Northwest with misdemeanor child endangering after her child, 4, was found walking in the street by herself at 2 a.m. Saturday.

Cofield pleaded not guilty today in Warren Municipal Court and bond was set at $3,500.

Cofield’s grandfather told police he received a call from a friend informing him of the child being in the street near Peace Avenue.

The grandfather said the child was not injured and he took her to his home. Cofield was at her grandfather’s home on Linda Drive Northwest when police arrived.
