SENIOR CITIZENS


AARP 4611 East, Youngstown, will meet for an executive board meeting at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Centenary United Methodist Church, 1413 Belmont Ave. Wayna Hightower, retired director of the Youngstown City Health District, will speak at noon. The topic will include health issues, as April is “Health Awareness Month.” Guests and new members are welcome at meetings and bus trips. Final payment of annual membership dues of $7 will be collected. There will be a 50-50 raffle. Report illnesses among members to Evelyn at 330-530-2734 and report deaths to Darlene at 330-783-0542.

Holy Family Seniors Group will meet at 11:30 a.m. Monday in the church hall, 2729 Center Road, Poland. Lunch will be served at noon followed by bingo and card games. Hostesses will be Jani Stamp, Gert Baldwin and Pat Kasaris. The cost of lunch is $4. Members who did not pay dues in March are asked to pay at the April meeting. The annual membership fee is $10. New members are welcome.

Keenagers of Third Baptist Church will meet at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the church, 1177 Park Hill Drive, Youngstown. Glenda Watson, a representative from the Public Library of Youngstown and Mahoning County, will speak on the services the library offers. Refreshments will be served. New members are welcome.

PERI, Trumbull County Chapter 56 will meet at 11:15 a.m. Wednesday at DiLucia’s Restaurant, 2610 Elm Road NE, Warren. Speaker will be John Haught, chairman of the PERI board of trustees.
