Church to offer divorce support group

AUSTINTOWN

DivoreCare will be offered at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 4490 Norquest Blvd., for 12 consecutive Mondays from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. beginning April 23. DivorceCare is a 12-week course/discussion group for those who are going through or have gone through a separation or divorce. It addresses through education and discussion the most common issues associated with divorce/separation and promotes healing so that participants can move on to build a new life.

The three components of DivorceCare are inspiring and educational video presentations, supportive and safe group discussions, and resources for home use. DivorceCare is sponsored by the IHM Family Healing Team. Church affiliation is not required for participation. Meetings will take place in the rectory.
