Alzheimer Network to offer presentations

WARREN

The Alzheimer Network will offer presentations April 21 and 28 to orient families about what they need to understand to best manage the disease. The sessions will take place at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 2816 E. Market St.

During the first session, participants will learn about coping with the progression of the long-term care common to those affected.

The second session orients families to community programs and services available to help, including requirements to participate as well as legal documents to execute.

Those interested in attending must call 330-788-9755 to register. There is no charge for the sessions and handouts will be provided. Participants are not required to attend both sessions.

The Alzheimer Network is a nonprofit organization formed by families to support families dealing with the disease. The network provides educational information and a quarterly newsletter as well as a telephone info-line and a variety of support groups.
