Junior Achievement USA garners prestigious honor

YOUNGSTOWN — Junior Achievement USA has been named Organization of the Year by the Institute for Financial Literacy’s 2018 Excellence In Financial Literacy Education Awards.

The EIFLE awards were created to recognize individuals and organizations who show “innovation, dedication and commitment” to teaching financial literacy.

JA USA’s programs, including Junior Achievement of the Mahoning Valley, reach 4.8 million K-12 students across the country. The organization was recognized for its incorporation of technology into the teaching of its financial literacy programs.
