First American Loans of Austintown had their “Easter Eggstravaganza” at Austintown Bounce on March 24.
The loan company and Austintown Bounce have teamed up in the past for the event. The event included an Easter egg hunt and a visit from the Easter bunny.
“Austintown Bounce does so much for the community,“ said Nicole Patrick, the assistant manager of First American Loans. She said that many of the employees at the loan company have children and visit Austintown Bounce often.
Each child received a “goodie bag“ full of treats when they first walked in. They could all use the inflatable bounce around stations in the building as well as play the games Austintown Bounce always has on site.
They had an Easter egg hunt for three different age groups: 3-5, 6-9 and 10 and older. The families brought their own baskets for the hunt. Rather than hiding the eggs, representatives of First American Loans and Austintown Bounce scattered the eggs in plain sight on the floor, so children did not try to search in dangerous places for eggs.
The event had more than 4,000 eggs overall. Forty of the eggs had gold tokens inside them, which the children could exchange for a gift basket.
