BROOKFIELD
Trevor Strohmeyer went 4 for 4 with a double and David Sewell had three hits and drove in six runs for the Leopards (7-1, 5-1 AAC Blue). The game was tied at 3 after five innings, but Liberty scored seven runs in its final two at-bats to pull away. Christian Kijowski worked 31/3 innings of relief for the victory. Kyle Shingledecker had a double for the Warriors (0-2, 0-2).
Mineral Ridge 16, Sebring 4, 5 innings
SEBRING
The Rams began the game with a nine-run inning on their way to a five-inning rout of the Trojans. Joey Williams, Nick Rich, Paul Bortz and James Harris each drove in two runs for Mineral Ridge. Gabe Lanzer had two RBIs for Sebring. Rich struck out five in the victory.
Maplewood 6, Heartland Christian 0
EAST PALESTINE
Frank Hiland pitched a three-hitter and struck out 14 in the Rockets’ victory. Thomas Dorsey had three hits and two RBIs for Maplewood and Matt Palm singled and doubled. Tom Kling and Zach Labon had doubles for Heartland Christian.

STRUTHERS
Kenny Misik was the winning pitcher for Austintown Fitch (4-3). Misik threw four innings, allowed two hits and struck out three. Cole Constance struck out five in three innings. Kole Klasic was 2 for 4 with two RBIs, Jeremiah Papa was 2 for 2 with an RBI and a run scored. Robby Russo was 2 for 4 with two singles and four RBIs. Matt Sperati pitched 42/3 innings. He had one strikeout. Zachary Yaskulka was 2 for 2 with two singles.

STRUTHERS
Marco DeFalco threw 62/3 innings for Niles. DeFalco allowed six runs — four earned — five hits, six walks and struck out 10. Ken Flanigan went 2 for 2 with three RBIs for Niles. David Mays, Joe Corson and Chase Sudzina each had an RBI. Struthers’ Tanner Sargent had a hit and two RBIs for the Wildcats. Stephen Mistovich, Chad Laczko and Jared Laczko drove in one run each.

ATWATER
McDonald’s Logan Shields pitched a complete game shutout. Shields allowed three hits, two walks and struck out seven. Zach Nolf and Tanner Matig drove in two runs a piece for the Blue Devils. Brycen Colbert pitched a complete game for Waterloo. He allowed four runs, one earned, and struck out six.
Canfield 2, Howland 1
CANFIELD
Spencer Woolley had two hits and an RBI for Canfield. Woolley’s infield single in the bottom of the sixth inning put Canfield ahead. Jack Rafoth was the winning pitcher for the Cardinals, pitching a complete game and striking out eight. Jackson Deemer drove in the only run for Howland.
Springfield 6, Mineral Ridge 0
MINERAL RIDGE
Chris Thompson had a double and two RBIs to lead Springfield (4-1). Brannon Brungard also had two hits for the Tigers.
Cardinal Mooney 7, South Range 0
STRUTHERS
AJ Pepperney led the Mooney offense with two doubles and three RBIs. Jake Fonderlin, Brennen Olesh and Will Valinti all had two hits each for the Cardinals. Brandon Youngs doubled for South Range (2-5).
Lisbon 7, Columbiana 7, suspended
COLUMBIANA
Lisbon scored four runs in the seventh inning to tie the game, which was suspended after eight innings due to darkness. The two sides will finish their game today before playing another game in Lisbon. Garrett Cox was 3 for 4 with and RBI. Logan Bell threw eight innings for Lisbon. Mason Rance added two runs on two hits. A.J. Perkins and Zach Franken each had two hits for Columbiana.
Hubbard 7, Lakeside 3
SAYBROOK TOWNSHIP
Shannon Slovesko was 4 for 4 with an RBI and Jamie Thompson hit an RBI double for Hubbard (4-3, 2-0). Evan Jarvis added two hits. On the mound, Anthony Corrin struck out four and walked three in five innings for the win. Joe Barr pitch the sixth and seventh innings, allowing no hits or walks with a strikeout. Shoun Matlock had two hits for Lakeside.

Poland 10, Austintown Fitch 4
AUSTINTOWN
The Bulldogs (5-0) stayed unbeaten after scoring five runs in the top of the first inning. Brooke Bobbey led Poland with two singles, a double and two RBIs, Ashley Wire collected three singles and Camryn Lattanzio tripled and walked twice. Monica Kurjan scattered four hits for the victory. Lainie Simons singled, homered and drive in two runs for the Falcons (1-2).
Brookfield 22, Liberty 4, 5innings
LIBERTY
The Warriors used a 15-run third inning to blow out the Leopards. Bailey Drapola homered and Chloe Willrich had three hits, including two triples and a double, and four RBIs for Brookfield. Sheridan Rotunno, Becca Litz, Julie First and Cara Nehlen each added two hits for the Warriors. Rotunno and Gabby Schiska had doubles. Rotunno, Drapola, TaeYana Ashley, Litz, First, Shiska and Macy Devine each had two RBIs. Drapola allowed three hits and struck out five. Savanna Houk and Makenzie McBride each had two hits for Liberty.

The Golden Flashes’ Sophie Howell pitched a no-hitter in the first game of a doubleheader sweep of the Red Devils. The teams played two five-inning games. Howell, Gabby Hollenbaugh and Abbi Grace each had two hits and Allison Smith had three RBIs for Champion. Smith pitched the second game and threw a one-hitter. The Golden Flashes’ Megan Turner homered twice and drove in five runs in the second game. Carli Swipas and Grace each had four hits in the second game, Turner had three and Smith, Kiersten Jones and Alayna Fell each had two. Grace had three RBIs.

BERLIN CENTER
Morgan Donithan singled home Gracie Wayland for for the Blue Devils’ walk-off victory. Layla Woolf hit a home run and finished with two RBIs while striking out six as the winning pitcher. Maddi Kelly had a home run, a double and two RBIs for Lowellville.

Ruthie Sandberg was 2 for 3 with a home run, a double and five RBIs for Hubbard. Emma Wukelich and Syndey Newell each hit a double for the Eagles. Kayla Chmelik gave up three runs on five hits and two walks with eight strikeouts for the win. Olivia Dalrymple hit a two-run double for Lakeside.

Cait Kelm was the winning pitcher for the Bulldogs. Kelm had seven strikeouts and walked two. Avrey Steiner, Annie Pavlansky, Beady Titus and Lindsay Carnahan had two hits each for Lakeview. Steiner and Titus had two RBIs apiece.
Jackson-Milton 12, Sebring 2
SEBRING
Abby Spalding went 4 for 4 with five RBIs for Jackson-Milton. Camryn Mitchell had two hits and three RBIs for the Blue Jays (3-0). Jackson-Milton pitcher Madde Hyland threw six innings and allowed four hits and a run. Hyland had seven strikeouts. Sebring’s Brittney Andrews drove in the Trojans’ only RBI. Sebring pitcher Emma Whaley allowed 12 runs, seven earned, in six innings of work. Leading 5-2, Jackson-Milton scored seven runs in the sixth inning to win the game.

MATHEWS
Ashley Deans had an RBI triple and a solo home run for Mathews (4-0). Baily Hall put up four hits and Addy Jarvis and Emily Derkach each had two hits. Jarvis struck out five and walked two for the win. Kendyl Switzer and Alaina Sines each had a hit for Bristol (2-1).

Brooke Morgan finished 3 for 4 with three RBIs for Badger. Cameron Zec pitched a complete game for Badger. Zec allowed five runs, one earned, and struck out four. Burnfield allowed 12 runs on 15 hits in six innings of work for Lordstown. Eastham drove in the only run for Lordstown.
