Rev. Stauffer to resign as Austintown trustee

AUSTINTOWN

The Rev. Rick Stauffer announced he will resign from the township board of trustees, effective at month’s end.

The Rev. Mr. Stauffer, who was twice appointed to serve on the board and then elected as trustee, is leaving to lead a church in Sharon, Pa. Currently pastor of Tabernacle Evangelical Presbyterian Church on Raccoon Road, Stauffer will be starting at Covenant Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Sharon May 1, he said.
