SENIOR CITIZENS

1418 Auxiliary Seniors will meet at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at Bedford Trails Golf Course Restaurant on Bedford Road in Coitsville. Members will order from the menu. John Texter will preside, and birthdays and anniversaries will be acknowledged. Bingo will be played, and there will be a 50-50 raffle. Austintown AARP 4339 will meet at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Austintown Senior Center, 112 Westchester Drive. A speaker from Family First Adult Day Care of Austintown will give the program. Refreshments will be served after the meeting. Hostesses will be Paula Bianco, sandwiches; Linda Ayars and Linda Wiland, cookies. Members of the national AARP are welcome to join the local chapter for annual dues of $5. The Noteables Chorus, a senior choir, is a part of this chapter. Canfield AARP 3104 will meet at 1 p.m. Monday at Canfield Presbyterian Church. Blood pressure will be taken from noon to 12:45 p.m. Susan McCabe, school teacher and Canfield Historical Society president, will present “The History of Canfield.” There will be a bus trip to see “Celtic Women Homecoming” at Cleveland State Theater on April 19. PERI, Trumbull County Chapter 56 will meet at 11:15 a.m. April 18 at DiLucia’s Restaurant, 2610 Elm Road NE, Warren. Speaker will be John Haught, chairman of the PERI board of trustees. Police and Fire Retirees of Ohio and Widows of Ohio, District 2, Chapter 10, will meet at 5:30 p.m. Thursday at the Austintown Senior Center, 112 Westchester Drive. Dale Baringer will speak.

St. Anthony Senior Club will meet at noon Tuesday in the church rectory. There is no committee for lunch, and all members are asked to take their own lunch. Coffee will be available.

TMH Retirees Club will host a luncheon at 11:30 a.m. Monday at the Buena Vista Cafe in Warren. This month’s speaker is from Damsel in Defense on the topic of senior safety. All TMH retirees and former employees are welcome to attend.
