Youngstown-based concert promotion company JAC Live was hired by the fair board last year to book concerts. John Mellencamp and Chris Young were last year’s headliners.
“Our partnership was a huge success last year, and we are excited to continue to grow the Canfield Fair’s grandstand entertainment,” said Eric Ryan, president of JAC Live, which also manages Covelli Centre in Youngstown and Packard Music Hall in Warren.
Ryan said that a second fair grandstand concert will be announced in coming weeks.
The Canfield Fair will run from Aug. 29 to Sept. 3.
