Johnnie Mikos and J.T. Ogden combined on a three-hitter in the Cardinals’ victory. Mikos got the win, allowing two hits and struck out nine in four innings. Ogden pitched one-hit ball over the last three innings for the save. Ogden and Anthony Potesta each had two hits for Cardinal Mooney. Mikos and Ethan Shaw each had a double for the Cardinals (1-1). Seth Schroeder had two hits for the Warriors (3-1). Josh Stahler had the other hit for West Branch.
Ursuline 3, Springfield 1, 8 innings
STRUTHERS
Back-to-back RBI doubles from Jeremy Kreuzwieser and Vince Armeni lifted the Irish (5-1) in the eighth. Dan Yoder gave up three hits and a walk while striking out one to get the win. Brannon Brungard and Brandon Walters each had two hits for Springfield, with Walters hitting a double. Anthony DeCato gave up one run while striking out six for Ursuline.

Zach Leonard struck out six while giving up two earned runs to take the lose for Niles. Marco DeFalco had a double for the Red Dragons.
Crestview 4, Steubenville Catholic Central 2
EAST FAIRFIELD
Tyler Hurd picked up the win for the Rebels, allowing two runs in 4 1/3 innings and Devin Turvey got the save with 2 2/3 scoreless innings. Jeff Feo had two hits and scored a run. Caleb Hill, Dylan Huff and James Fitzgerald each had a hit for Crestview.
Western Reserve 7, Columbiana 5
COLUMBIANA
AJ Perkins and Chase Franken each had two hits with Franken also belting a double in the sixth inning for the Clippers. Zach Fahs led off the 2nd with a triple to right and Evan Kenneally and Tyler Andersen each collected their first varsity hits for Columbiana (1-4). Andersen also had his first varsity RBI. No statistics were reported for Western Reserve (1-1).
Liberty 9, East 0
LIBERTY
Brennan Romain threw a one-hit shutout for Liberty (5-1, 3-1 AAC Blue), striking out eight and hitting two batters. Trevor Strohmeyer and Kevin Hawn each had two hits and David Sewell had a two-run double. Mikese Stevens hit a triple for East (0-2, 0-2).
Salem 10, Lisbon 3
SALEM
Adam Wilson and Luke Weingart each hit two-run singles for Salem. Wilson gave up three runs on five hits and struck out seven to get the win. Logan Bell struck out six in defeat.

COLUMBIANA
Kelly Williams, Katie Perry and Maddie Filisky hit home runs for the Cardinals and Kayla Rutherford pitched a four-hitter and struck out 14. CJ Sapp had three hits and Conchetta Rinaldi drove in three runs for Cardinal Mooney. Brooke Chandler had two hits for the Cardinals. Amanda Cross had a triple and Alyssa Tohm had a double for the Clippers.
East 15, Valley Christian 9
YOUNGSTOWN
The Golden Bears’ Shaundey Young struck out 11 and teammates Miranda McCann, Kimberly McCann and Sierra Morales all drove in runs for East.
Struthers 9, Girard 7
STRUTHERS
Trinity Farrar had a home run and three RBIs and Khaylah Brown had a triple and scored twice for the Wildcats. Adrianna Leonard and Mary Bayus each had a double for Struthers. Lorren Alejars had three hits including a triple, two RBIs and scored twice, Sophie Griffith had two hits including a double and Abby Porter had two hits and scored twice for Girard.

Alyssa Bricker scored the go-ahead run for the Quakers and Alyssa Laubacher and Taylor Thorpe each went 2 for 2 and reached base four times each. Bailee Thorn got the win in relief with two scoreless innings.

EAST PALESTINE
Marissa Lellio singled, doubled and drove in five runs and Kennedy Kelly collected three hits for the Rockets. Lowellville pitcher Isabella Sotlar struck out four.

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C.
Jordyn Kenneally threw her for her second shutout victory this week for the Irish (6-0). Kenneally struck out 11 and gave up three hits. Emily Holland and Jenna O’Hara hit consecutive RBI-doubles in the fifth for Ursuline’s two runs. The Irish won their division of the Myrtle Beach Grand Strand Championship.

CHAGRIN FALLS
Lydia Spalding went six innings in a rain shortened game striking out 12 and giving up three hits for Fitch (1-1). Offensively for the Falcons, Lainie Simons hit a two-run home run and Lydia Spalding hit a triple and a single with two RBI. Ashley Fuller, Abby Brown, Christina Tucker, and Ashley Mickey each contributed a single.

POLAND
The Bulldogs (4-0) handled the Raiders in five innings. Ashley Wire struck out five while one-hitting the Raiders. She was also 2-for-3 at the plate with a double. Payton Slania and Jackie Grisdale each had three hits, with the former hitting a double and the latter had three RBI. Ally Nittoli had two hits for the Bulldogs. India Stovell hit a double for Harding (2-3).
Badger 10, Southington 6
KINSMAN
Erica Ramsey gave up six runs on six hits and struck out five to get the win for Badger. Madison Karr knocked home four runs on two hits and Tori Hughes was 2-for-2 with a double.
Western Reserve 10, Rootstown 7
BERLIN CENTER
Layla Woolf hit a three-run homer and had as many walks as she did strikeouts on the mound with nine. Gracie Wayland, Abby Sudano and Emma Dunlap each had two RBI for Western Reserve, who played five innings due to weather.

Addy Jarvis pitched a one-hitter and struck out nine for the Mustangs (2-0). Alivia Oulton singled, doubled and drove in two runs. Jarvis, Mackenzi Graham and Bailey Hall each had two hits for Mathews. Jarvis and Lena Wallace each had a double and Graham and Wallace each had two RBIs.
