The Mahoning Valley Gun Collectors will have a gun show from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. next Saturday and April 15 at the Lowellville Rod & Gun Club, 6225 Quarry Road.

Admission is $5. Buy, sell and trade all types of guns, hunting and fishing equipment and collectibles. All firearms must be unloaded and are subject to inspection before entering.

CCW class

Poland

New Middletown Farmers & Sportsmen Club, 3341 E. Calla Road, will have a CCW class at 8 a.m. April 28.

Cost is $90 per person and includes all the books, targets, coffee, muffin and a light lunch.

Turkey shoots

Lowellville

The Lowellville Rod & Gun Club, 6225 Quarry Road, will have spring turkey shoots on Tuesdays through April 24.

Sign up is at 6 p.m.; shoots are at 7. Cost is $2 per shot (shells provided).

Ladies firearm class

Vienna

The Fish & Game Club of Vienna, 1508 Youngstown Kingsville Road, is having a ladies firearm class from 5:45 to 10 p.m. on Tuesdays starting May 15.

The class will run for eight weeks and qualifies participants for a concealed-carry permit.

The class also includes hand-to-hand defense and personal protection, and a law-enforcement officer will speak on the laws concerning guns.

Cost is $75 and includes 50 rounds of varying calibers of pistols.
