Man indicted for October overdose death


YOUNGSTOWN — A Mahoning County grand jury today indicted a man who already served a seven-year sentence for involuntary manslaughter on a new charge of involuntary manslaughter for the drug-overdose death of a man in October.

Jerrell Womack, 27, of Oak Street Extension, also faces charges of corrupting another with drugs, aggravated trafficking in drugs, trafficking in cocaine and trafficking in heroin.

Womack was not in custody as of late tonight.
