Man with fentanyl in car is jailed

YOUNGSTOWN

Reports said officers found a dose of fentanyl Wednesday in the car of a Brookfield man who was pulled over about 6:40 p.m. for running a stop sign at Hubbard Road and Logan Avenue.

Arthur Shumar was booked into the Mahoning County jail on charges of possession of drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia for a syringe that was also found.

Shumar is expected to be arraigned Friday in municipal court
