Mercer woman had 27 painkillers in bra, police say

YOUNGSTOWN

A Mercer, Pa., woman is in the Mahoning County jail after reports said police Tuesday found 27 painkillers in her bra.

Jessica Kimmie, 36, was a passenger in a car driven by Nathan Melhorn, 33, also of Mercer, about 6:15 p.m. in the 500 block of Marmion Avenue.

Reports said Melhorn gave police permission to search the car and there was a pill on the seat where Kimmie was sitting. 

A female police officer was called in to search for the pills and found them, reports said.

Melhorn was cited for driving under suspension.
