Road closures in Mahoning, Columbiana counties due to flooding

Here are the road closures reported in Mahoning and Columbiana counties due to flooding caused by the area's heavy rains.

• Youngstown: The Ohio Department of Transportation reported that state Route 711 southbound to Interstate 680 northbound is closed due to flooding.

ODOT urges motorists to avoid the area until further notice.

• Columbiana County: Lisbon Canfield Road (Between state Route 558 and state Route 344); St. Jacob Logtown Road (Between state Route 45 and Lisbon Road); and Old state Route 558 (At railroad underpass between Route 558 and Jersey Ridge Road).

Salem Township police also said several other roads have standing water and drivers are urged to use extreme caution while traveling and to slow down.
