Help Network of Northeast Ohio will host its annual fundraiser at 7 p.m. April 12 at Packard Music Hall in Warren. Proceeds will benefit Help Network’s programs, including 24/7 crisis intervention, suicide prevention and intervention, and helping people with mental health issues and homelessness.

Angelo Babbaro will be the guest for “An Evening with Sinatra.” Cost is $30 for a floor seat and $50 for a table seat stage-front. Tickets can be at ticketmaster.com; in person at the Packard Music Hall box office; or by calling 800-745-3000.

Historical society will host local author

BOARDMAN

Boardman Historical Society will host local author and historian, Tom Welsh, for its meeting that will take place at 10 a.m. April 14 at the Boardman Library, 7680 Glenwood Ave. The program will be based on Welsh’s book, “Strouss: Youngstown’s Dependable Department Store,” which he co-authored with Michael Geltz. Admission is free and reservations are requested.

New Castle YMCA to host Healthy Kids Day

New Castle, PA

The New Castle Community YMCA, 20 W. Washington St., in conjuction with the Crisis Shelter of Lawrence County, First Assembly of God, and Children’s Advocacy Center of Lawrence County will host Healthy Kids Day, a free community event to encourage kids to stay active, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 21.

The streets around the building will be closed to offer indoor and outdoor fun for the entire family. The event will feature physical and educational activities. There also will be several community organizations and businesses on hand with resources, free samples, and activities. Greek Sing to take place at Stambaugh

YOUNGSTOWN

Youngstown State University’s fraternity and sorority students will be demonstrating their singing and dancing talents at 6 p.m. Saturday at Stambaugh Auditorium, 1000 Fifth Ave. The students will be showcased at the annual Greek Sing musical variety show.
