Katelyn McConnell and Louis Joseph, both of Colorado Springs, Colo., exchanged wedding vows June 3 during a ceremony at Abby Manor in Greenville, Ga. The officiant was Isiah Harper, and a reception followed at the same location.

The bride is the daughter of Carrie and Calvin Araneta of Wahiawa, Hawaii. Mr. Joseph is the son of Lou and Angela Joseph of Youngstown.

The couple took a wedding trip to Belize and Mexico.

Leslie Settle was the honor attendant. The bridesmaids were, Mandy Hull, Kayla Mumpower, Katelyn Hudson and Brittiney Walker. Flower girls were Annabelle Collins, Sophie MacPhail and cousins of the groom, Nina and Lola Armeni. The attendants wore peach-colored dresses.

The best man was James Forgrave, and the groomsmen were the groom’s cousin, David Buzzacco, and Andrew Palella, Elliot Chal and Joseph Boyland. The ring bearer was Aniello Rose, cousin of the groom.

The bride was given in marriage by her brother, Zachary McConnell.

Mrs. Joseph is a graduate of Columbia State University with a bachelor’s degree in mathematics. She is a software developer with National Strength and Conditioning Association in Colorado Springs.

Mr. Joseph is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point. He earned bachelor’s degrees in Arabic and comparative politics. He is a 1st lieutenant with the U.S. Army at Fort Carson in Colorado Springs.
