The Gutierrezes honored for 50th anniversary
CANFIELD
Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Gutierrez of Canfield were honored for their 50th wedding anniversary with a cocktail and dinner party April 22 at Squaw Creek Country Club. They celebrated with family and friends, and their daughters, Kellie Gutierrez and Kristen (David) Mancini and grandchildren, Dylan and Gia Mancini served as hosts.
Mr. Gutierrez and the former Maureen Farran were married April 22, 1967, at St. Edward Church in Youngstown. They were also honored at a special wedding anniversary Mass that took place at St. Columba Cathedral on June 11.
Mrs. Gutierrez retired from the U.S. Postal Service in 2010 after 32 years of service as the manager of vehicle maintenance. She also held various other positions, including human-resources specialist and supervisor of delivery and collections.
Mr. Gutierrez retired from the Youngstown Police Department in 1982 as a lieutenant/detective and later retired in 2006 from the U.S. Postal Service as a distribution clerk. He served in the U.S. Army from 1959 to 1962.
