The Brysons celebrate 60th anniversary

Mr. and Mrs. Don Bryson celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary Aug. 26 at a dinner with friends and family at Trumbull Country Club.

Mr. Bryson and the former Marianne Toth were married Aug. 26, 1957, at St. Patrick Church in Youngstown.

The couple’s children are Don (Marisa) Bryson of Durham, N.C.; Dave (Trudy) Bryson of Houston, Texas; and Doug (Ashly) Bryson of Laurens, S.C. They have 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Bryson was a registered nurse for Youngstown Osteopathic Hospital until she retired in 1998. She is a volunteer at the Beatitude House.

Mr. Bryson was an advertising manager for Gasser Chair Co. in Liberty until he retired in 1997. He is a U.S. Army veteran.

The couple both attended Youngstown College and are members of St. Patrick Church in Youngstown.

The couple visited family in the Carolinas in July.
