Ashly Wilbanks | Douglas Bryson

Ashly Cunningham Wilbanks and Douglas Bryson, both of Laurens, S.C., were married at 7 p.m. June 30 in a private ceremony at home, for which a minister and friend of the couple officiated. The couples’ sons, Alex Bryson and Morgan and Marshall Wilbanks, were witnesses.

The bride’s parents are Jean Cunningham of Clinton, S.C., and Mr. and Mrs. Cunningham of Waterloo, S.C. The groom’s parents are Don and Marianne Bryson of Liberty.

Mrs. Bryson is an administrative assistant for the Laurens County Fire Service, Laurens, S.C.

Mr. Bryson attended Western Carolina University, Spartanburg Methodist College and Youngstown State University and graduated with a degree in criminal justice and emergency-room management. He works for Spartanburg County, S.C., as director of emergency management.

The couple honeymooned at Hilton Head, S.C., and reside in Laurens.
