THURSDAY
Lord of Life Church, 550 N. Broad St., Canfield, will host a drive-through chicken dinner from 3 to 6 p.m. Menu consists of chicken parmesan, spaghetti, three bean salad, roll and butter and cake. Cost is $9 per dinner; only cash accepted. Proceeds will help with ministry expenses. Each person will receive $1 off the purchase price of dinner when bringing a can of vegetables to be donated to the needy at the Rescue Mission or another organization. VFW Col. Louis J. Campbell Post 3538, 157 Lowellville Road, Struthers, will serve spaghetti dinners from 4 to 7 p.m. Meals include meatballs, salad, bread and butter, and coffee. Christ, the Good Shepherd Parish, 633 Porter Ave., Campbell, will host pirogi sales every Friday. There are potato, kraut and prune pirogis for sale at $6 per dozen. Call 330-755-1316 to order from 8 a.m. to noon Thursday with pickup from noon to 1:30 p.m. Friday. No orders or walk-ins will be taken Friday.
Christ Our Savior Parish at Holy Trinity Church, 250 N. Bridge St., Struthers, will sell potato, cabbage and lekvar pirogi. The cost is $6 a dozen. There is a limit of three dozen cabbage pirogi while supplies last. Orders will be taken from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday and from 8 to 10 a.m. Friday at 330-755-0064. No walk-in orders will be accepted. Pickup will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday. Containers will be provided.
Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church, 53 Laird Ave., Youngstown, will serve fish dinners from 3:30 to 7 p.m. at the church hall. The menu will consist of baked or fried Icelandic cod or fried haddock; sides of Spanish rice, haluski, macaroni and cheese, french fries or string beans (choose two); coleslaw or applesauce; bread and butter; and coffee or tea. The cost is $11 for adults and $6 for children. Dessert will be an additional $1.75. Containers will be provided for takeouts. Orders will be accepted from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 330-792-1005.
St. Stanislaus Church, 430 Williamson Ave., Youngstown, sells potato, kraut and cottage cheese pirogi. Advance orders will be taken at 330-747-3024 from 8 a.m. to noon Thursday and Friday. Pickup will be Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The cost is $6.50 per dozen. Pirogi lunches will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Walk-in orders are welcome.
SUNDAY
Immaculate Heart of Mary Knights of Columbus #3930 is sponsoring a sausage and pancake breakfast from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the parish center, located at 4500 Norquest Blvd. in Austintown. The menu consists of sausage, a variety of pancakes and beverages. The cost for adults is $5 and $3 for children 12 and under.
Girard Knights of Columbus, Council No. 2935 will sponsor the second annual Autumn Pumpkin Day fundraiser starting at 8 a.m. until sold out. The sale will be on the northwest side of the church administration building, 48 E. Main St. Proceeds will go to K of C charitable endeavors.

St. Patrick Church, 1410 Oak Hill Ave., Youngstown, will host its Sauce and Song program with a spaghetti dinner from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be a concert featuring Maureen Collins and Riley and Molly Burke, who are members of Collins’ troupe. Collins will share stories and songs of her years of performing with Easy Street Productions. Admission is free but offerings are appreciated. Menu consists of main entree, salad, bread, dessert and beverages. Takeouts are available and containers are provided. Cost for dinner is $8 for adults and $5 for children age 10 and under. St. George Croatian Center, 3200 Vestal Road, Youngstown, will take orders for stuffed cabbage and soup until Friday. Stuffed cabbage is $25 for a baker’s dozen. Saxon Culture Group's semiannual sausage sale will offer 3- and 5-pound packages of large links in mild, hot and Saxon-recipe garlic flavors and 5-pound packages of bulk in all flavors. The menu will include stuffed peppers, homemade mashed potatoes, homemade applesauce, roll and butter and dessert. Price is $8, and all proceeds go to the “Rebuilding Together in Faith, Hope & Love” campaign to renovate and expand the church.
St. Nicholas Holy Name Society of Christ Our Savior Parish, 766 Fifth St. in Struthers, will serve a chicken and rib dinner on Oct. 7 with baked potato, salad and dessert included for $14.
