Salinas wins unanimous decision

LAS VEGAS — Popo Salinas outlasted Duarn Vue in an eight-round, unanimous decision tonight in a nationally televised boxing match at The Cannery Hotel.

Salinas (9-1) had won by knockout in his previous eight pro victories. The loss was the first pro defeat for Vue 12-1-2.
