National Voter Registration Day set at Eastwood Mall

League of Women Voters of Trumbull County will host an informational table from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday in the food court at Eastwood Mall in Niles. Voter registration forms will be available. There also will be information if anyone has moved, changed their name or not voted in the past four years. Last day to register is Oct. 10.

LWVTC published a “Voter Information Guide” and will distribute it beginning in early October. It is the only nonpartisan publication to record and distribute information on each candidate’s position and credentials in his or her own words. It will contain information on all local and state issues that will appear on the ballot in Trumbull County.

All meetings of the LWVTC are open to the public. The next meeting is from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Kent State Trumbull Campus, room 233. Speaker will be Tony Villanueva from the TAG Law Enforcement Task Force. The League meets the fourth Monday of the month at various locations.
